This hand forged railroad spike knife is a great camp or shop knife. Each knife is hand forged which makes it one of a kind. It is well balanced, rugged in appearance, with a very sharp blade and fits comfortably in the hand. Although, it is not a high carbon hard edged blade, each blade is slowly heated to a non-magnetic state, oil quenched and annealed. The blade easily takes a sharpening to a razor sharp edge.
